Can I use a virtual card to purchase cryptocurrency with Simplex?

We accept virtual VISA or MasterCard cards. However, some credit and debit card issuers have their own policies.
Therefore, before making a payment, we advise you to contact your bank or card issuer and make sure that:

    • Your card is enrolled to the 3DSecure program;
    • Your card is eligible for international transactions;
    • You have enough money in your account to complete the transaction;
    • The card issuer allows cryptocurrency purchases.


Currently, MasterCard, Apple Pay, and Google Pay are not supported for cryptocurrency purchases from the US via our services. 
Users from the US can only use VISA personal debit cards, business debit cards and prepaid cards.
